Daily Log

Our user persona Julie Richards is required by her doctor to keep track of her daily symptoms daily symptoms because of her diabetes. Her dementia causes her to have trouble remembering which symptoms she has each day and she is unable to communicate the correct information to her doctor. Because of this she is not receiving the correct medication to help with her symptoms.
02.
Adding Events
Julie Richards values her independence living alone, but her dementia often causes issues such as forgetting to go to doctor’s appointments. She is required to have checkups every other month but often forgets to schedule her next appointment because she does not remember when her last one was. To combat this, Julie uses the calendar feature on the AgeWell app.

Adding Reminders
Since Julie Richards has diabetes, she must test her blood sugar levels every day to make sure it is at a normal rate. Because of her dementia, she forgets if she has already done it that day and often tests it multiple times a day unnecessarily or she forgets to take it altogether. This confusion frustrates her and she wishes there was something to let her know if she has completed the task yet.
